Phase 1 Insight

This is our most established project and is a 9 week programme across semester 4 for second year students sitting their end of Phase 1 exams. Each week has a theme but sessions are designed to help you integrate your understanding of body systems across Phase 1 modules and apply your knowledge to challenging clinical scenarios.

  • Monday 22nd March: Infection and Immunity
  • Monday 29th March: Head and Neck

All sessions will be run via Blackboard Collaborate

How much? All sessions are FREE to attend

The format for each session is as follows:
  • Integrative Case-Based Lecture to practise cross-modular integration, exam technique, structured approaches to problem solving, application of concepts and active learning.
  • Interactive SBA Quiz using Socrative on iPads. Prizes for full marks!
  • Group Work SAQs supervised by senior student tutors.
